A wedding in Bali sounds simple enough at first. Find a place by the beach, invite the people you love, and spend a few days together on the island. Then the planning starts.
How many guests are coming? Does the package include dinner? Will someone handle the ceremony setup? And if you’re flying in from Australia or elsewhere overseas, what paperwork do you need to sort out before leaving home? These are the details worth getting right before paying a deposit.
For couples considering a wedding in Nusa Dua, SADARA Resort offers three packages with different arrangements and price points. Here’s what each one covers, where you can hold the ceremony, and a few things that are worth asking the wedding team.
How Much Does a Bali Wedding Package Cost at SADARA?
SADARA Resort’s 2026 wedding proposal lists three packages, starting at IDR 59,990,000++.
The prices below are taken from the resort’s published proposal. They aren’t final quotations for a particular wedding date.
| Wedding Package | Published Price |
|---|---|
| Signature Wedding | IDR 59,990,000++ |
| Just Two of Us | IDR 69,990,000++ |
| Royal Wedding | IDR 199,990,000++ |
The ++ means that government tax and service charge are added to the advertised price. SADARA’s proposal states a combined charge of 21%.
Another detail to keep in mind: not every package includes a reception meal for all your guests. The number of people attending your ceremony and the number covered by the catering arrangements can be different.
You can review the full inclusions in the SADARA Wedding Proposal 2026.
Choosing Between SADARA’s Three Wedding Packages
The three packages aren’t simply smaller and larger versions of the same event. Each covers a different set of arrangements.
Signature Wedding: From IDR 59,990,000++
The Signature Wedding is a good starting point if you’d like a beachside ceremony with family and friends, but don’t need every part of the reception arranged as one package.
It includes ceremony seating for up to 50 guests, a non-legal celebrant, floral arrangements for the aisle, a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, and a two-tier wedding cake. There’s a solo violin performance during the ceremony, along with welcome mocktails, a sound system and an on-the-day wedding coordinator.
Those details take care of much of the ceremony itself. What you’ll still need to discuss is the reception. The published Signature package doesn’t specify a full wedding dinner, so don’t assume catering for 50 people is covered by the starting price.
If you’re planning dinner afterwards, ask the team to include it in your quotation.
Just Two of Us: From IDR 69,990,000++
Some couples would rather skip the large guest list altogether. They want to exchange vows, enjoy a meal together and leave plenty of time for the rest of their Bali holiday.
SADARA’s Just Two of Us package takes that approach. The ceremony includes a non-legal celebrant, a flower-petal walkway, a bouquet and boutonniere, and solo violin music. The package also includes a seaside dinner for the couple, a picnic on arrival and a 60-minute Balinese massage.
It’s a different kind of arrangement from Signature Wedding. There’s less emphasis on a larger ceremony, with more of the inclusions centred around time together. Although SADARA’s website describes this package as suitable for intimate celebrations, the published dinner inclusion is for two people.
If you’d like a handful of family members or friends to attend, ask what additional seating, food and drinks would cost.
Royal Wedding: From IDR 199,990,000++
A wedding with a reception needs more coordination than a short ceremony.
There’s the seating, dinner service, music, decorations and the small details that guests tend to notice only when something goes wrong. The Royal Wedding package covers more of those arrangements.
It includes a private beachfront ceremony setting and a garden reception setup, with floral decorations, a non-legal celebrant, and an on-the-day wedding coordinator. The package also lists a three-tier wedding cake, acoustic music during the ceremony, bridal hair and makeup, and a romantic dinner and spa treatments for the couple.
Reception dinner and welcome drinks are included for 30 people, alongside a two-hour cocktail arrangement specified in the proposal. That’s the number worth paying attention to.
If you’re inviting 60, 80 or more guests, you’ll need an updated quotation covering additional food, drinks, seating and any other arrangements required. The Royal Wedding package could be the better fit if you’re planning a ceremony followed by a proper reception, but the final cost will depend on your guest list.
Where Can You Have Your Wedding at SADARA Resort?
SADARA sits along the beachfront in Tanjung Benoa, on the northern side of Nusa Dua. The resort has outdoor ceremony areas and an indoor event space. Choosing between them comes down to your guest count, the time of year and how you’d like the day to run.
Beach Front Garden
If the sea is the main reason you’ve chosen Bali, the Beach Front Garden is the first venue to consider.
You can hold your ceremony near the shoreline and stay within the resort for the rest of the celebration. It’s worth asking how the space will be arranged for your guest count. A setup for 20 people will look quite different from one for a much larger group.
SADARA Courtyard
The courtyard offers a garden setting rather than a ceremony directly beside the beach. It may suit couples who prefer greenery around the ceremony area or want to keep the main event away from the shoreline.
Ask the wedding team about decoration options, seating layouts and how the courtyard would work with your reception plans.
Mantra Meeting Room
An indoor venue might not be what you originally pictured for a Bali wedding, but it’s useful to have the option. SADARA’s Mantra Meeting Room can accommodate private events and larger gatherings, depending on the seating arrangement.
For couples marrying during the wetter months, it’s worth asking whether the room is available as a backup and what would happen if the ceremony needed to move indoors. You can see the venue options on SADARA’s Bali wedding venues page.
What Should You Check Before Booking?
A package brochure gives you a starting point. It doesn’t always answer everything you’ll need to know before confirming a wedding date.
Here are the questions we’d ask before paying a deposit.
Does the Package Cover Everyone on Your Guest List?
Don’t confuse ceremony capacity with catering inclusions. Signature Wedding includes seating for up to 50 guests, while Royal Wedding lists dinner and welcome drinks for 30 people. Before booking, give the wedding team your estimated guest count and ask for a quotation showing the additional cost per person.
It’s better to sort that out early than discover later that a large part of your reception wasn’t covered.
Is Your Wedding Symbolic or Legally Recognised?
This is particularly important for couples travelling from overseas.
SADARA’s published packages include non-legal celebrants. That means the ceremony itself should not be assumed to establish a legally recognised marriage. If you want a legal marriage in Indonesia, you’ll need to check the relevant requirements and discuss any additional arrangements with the resort.
Australian couples can start with the Australian Government’s advice on getting married overseas. It explains why couples should check documentation requirements and how recognition of an overseas marriage works. Don’t leave this part until you’ve already booked flights and accommodation.
What Happens If It Rains?
Bali’s wetter months generally run from November to March, but rain isn’t limited to those months.
If you’re planning an outdoor ceremony, ask about the wet-weather backup before confirming the venue.
Where would the ceremony move? How much notice would the team need? Would the alternative setup involve extra charges?
SADARA’s wedding proposal requires a wet-weather backup during the rainy season, so this is something to settle during the planning stage.
What About Deposits and Cancellation?
The published terms require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due 30 days before the event.
The proposal also sets out cancellation charges, so read the full conditions carefully before committing.
If your guest numbers or preferred arrangements change, ask how those changes will affect the final invoice.
Should You Keep Your Bali Wedding Small?
There’s no requirement to turn a destination wedding into a week-long event for dozens of people.
For some couples, a ceremony with just a few guests feels more comfortable. They can spend more time together, have a relaxed dinner afterwards and avoid organising a large reception. Other couples want the opposite. Having family and friends travel to Bali is part of the celebration, and they want everyone together for the day.
Both approaches can work. The important thing is knowing which one you want before choosing a package. If you’re leaning towards a smaller guest list, our guide to planning an intimate wedding in Bali looks at some of the decisions involved.
Talk to SADARA Nusa Dua Resort About Your Wedding Plans
Once you have a rough guest count and a preferred wedding date, you can start getting into the details that matter. Tell SADARA’s wedding team how many people you’re expecting, whether you’d prefer the beach or a garden setting, and what you’d like included after the ceremony. They can put together a quotation that reflects your plans rather than leaving you to work everything out from a package price alone.
You can explore SADARA’s wedding venues and packages or contact the team at fbsales@sadararesort.com to discuss your date and arrangements.
